Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and hard-working individual to provide high-quality care and support to our residents. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and using the toilet.
  • Provide support with mobility and physical disabilities, including incontinence care.
  • Help service users who are temporarily sick or require assistance with feeding.
  • Encourage mental and physical activities, such as reading, writing, and hobbies.
  • Perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as washing up and clearing dining areas.
  • Participate in service user meetings and training activities as directed.
  • Report any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a service user to the nurse in charge.
  • Encourage service users to maintain their independence at all times.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work flexibly and be willing to learn and develop your skills.
