Position Overview

Note: Salary will be adjusted for part-time hours.

East Dunbartonshire Leisure & Culture Trust is dedicated to providing exceptional leisure and cultural services. We are currently expanding our team to enhance our offerings across various facilities.

This is a Part-Time Role (7.5 hours) based at the Allander Leisure Centre and its adjacent outdoor facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks within outdoor facilities and dryside activities at the Allander Leisure Centre. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining cleanliness and order of facilities
  • Engaging with customers, teams, and officials
  • Setting up and dismantling equipment as needed

General Requirements:

Candidates must be available to work outside of standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Background checks through Disclosure Scotland will be mandatory.

PVG / Disclosure Scotland Requirements

All applicants must meet the following criteria for roles requiring PVG/Disclosure checks:
Successful candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment confirmation.
Candidates should be aware that the cost of the relevant check will be deducted from their first salary payment. In certain situations, this payment may be deducted in installments from wages after employment begins, subject to HR Services Lead approval. If an employee departs before the deduction is completed, the total amount will be taken from their final salary.
These criteria also apply to current employees of East Dunbartonshire Council applying for positions requiring a PVG/Disclosure check.
