About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Barchester Healthcare as a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and developing teams in various care homes across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel across the region to manage and develop teams in various care homes
- Implement action plans to ensure high-quality care and service delivery
- Take on leadership duties in the absence of the General Manager
- Monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and regulatory compliance checks
- Develop and deliver strategies to achieve goals and improve resident outcomes
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration
- Teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification
- Previous experience in a nursing home setting
- Evidence of continual professional development
- Experience in managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments
- Strong knowledge of sales and marketing, budget management, and HR practices
