About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our tight-knit UK-based team at JMC Legal Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of our client, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and advising the executive team on legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage corporate legal matters and implement FCA-driven policies that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Negotiate and draft commercial agreements with technology partners and vendors.
  • Advise on legal risks associated with commercial transactions.
  • Anticipate potential legal challenges and proactively address them to protect the company's interests.

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified lawyer from a Top 10 law firm, 8-15 PQE.
  • Experience advising and/or working for broker-dealers with a solid understanding of UK securities laws.
  • Experience working with regulators or in a regulated business environment is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
