Learning Support Assistant

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with SEND.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of lessons, including adapting materials and resources to meet the needs of students with SEND.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive learning environment, promoting positive behavior and social skills.
- Work closely with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and collaboration in supporting students with SEND.
- Previous experience working with children with SEND, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and patient approach.
- Knowledge of SEN legislation and policies, with a commitment to inclusive practice.
