About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered General Nurse to join our surgical ward team. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adults and children undergoing surgery.

Our surgical ward is a busy and diverse environment, with 13 beds and a 2-bed critical care unit. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care to patients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for surgical care and a commitment to providing excellent patient outcomes. You will be a registered nurse with a keen interest in developing your skills and knowledge in this area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to adults and children undergoing surgery
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective delivery of care
  • Participate in ward audit, clinical quality indicators, and safety cross data collection
  • Flexibility to work in other areas of the organisation, either hospital or community based
