About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join KBR's Technology business unit as a Process Engineer, specializing in Syngas technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading studies, process design packages, and basic engineering design related to syngas processing plants, including hydrogen and ammonia production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform screening, feasibility, and conceptual studies for revamping existing plants and designing new ones.
  • Develop process simulations to produce heat and material balances.
  • Design and develop process flow sheets and utility flow diagrams.
  • Develop equipment process data sheets and perform calculations for preliminary design or rating of equipment.
  • Prepare process hydraulic calculations for pump and line sizing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Process simulation experience with tools like Pro II, Hysis, or AspenPlus.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Collaborative working ethic and exceptional technical skills.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
