Reinsurance Operations Specialist needed for a prominent global insurance organization.


The primary objective of this position is to oversee the management of contract data collection and reporting functions for both Syndicate and Company markets concerning Outwards Reinsurance.


This role necessitates the establishment and maintenance of strong relationships with Outwards Reinsurance Purchasing, Claims, Finance, and other operational departments to ensure a cohesive and synchronized approach.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Collaborate with the Reinsurance Purchasing Team to facilitate the effective data capture of intricate global reinsurance contracts within our systems. This includes understanding system limitations and proposing alternative solutions, such as contract structure modifications that minimize manual intervention required throughout the contract lifecycle.


2. Ensure timely and accurate data entry for new contracts, renewals, extensions, adjustments, and endorsements across both company and syndicate entities on the platforms utilized.


3. Execute the calculation and submission of various regulatory returns generated by the team.


4. Work collaboratively to guarantee compliance with all internal controls within established service level agreements (SLAs).


5. Partner with Finance and Purchasing Teams to compute premium adjustments.


6. Act as a deputy and contribute to status updates during bi-weekly RAM Team meetings and Pillar meeting agendas.


7. Assist the Pillar Head in enhancing procedural documentation, filing systems, and workflow processes within the pillar.


8. Monitor contracts to ensure adherence to all sanctions and embargo regulations.


9. Support the ongoing development of the Outwards Reinsurance Target Operating Model, striving to establish consistent best practices and positioning the organization as a leader in Outwards Reinsurance operations.


The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Reinsurance, acquired through experience in either a Reinsurance or Brokerage environment.
