Associate Director BIM Job Description

At ENGINEERINGUK, we are seeking an experienced Associate Director BIM to lead our Cost Consultancy team in delivering exceptional results for our clients. As a key member of our Ports Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for driving the development of our cost management services and ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of cost plans and estimates for large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Manage the procurement process, ensuring effective selection and contract preparation
  • Deliver cost management services to drive strategic outcomes and KPIs
  • Provide expert technical advice on value management, life cycle costing, and contract law
  • Lead large teams of direct reports, driving behaviours to achieve success and KPIs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve net zero carbon transition and manage associated carbon emissions
Requirements:
  • Degree in quantity surveying/cost management or equivalent
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Sound knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law, and contractual frameworks
  • Leadership and management experience of large teams
  • Knowledge of carbon and sustainability considerations in construction projects
