Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our Pharmacy Production Unit at Glan Clwyd Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality products.

Main Responsibilities

  • Participate in the manufacturing of chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, parental nutrition, and radiopharmaceuticals, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice principles and utilizing aseptic technique.
  • Work within cleanroom environments, maintaining high levels of cleanroom behavior and comportment at all times.
  • Participate in the manufacturing of extemporaneous products.
  • Maintain the integrity of the cleanroom environment by working in accordance with strict cleaning regimes, as detailed in departmental SOPs.
  • Contribute to environmental monitoring of controlled areas, ensuring a safe working environment is maintained.
  • Participate in pre-process checking of various products, including chemotherapy and over-labelled medicines, following completion of associated training programs.
