**Job Title:** Teaching Assistant - SEN Support
**Job Type:** Full-time
**Location:** Lancaster
**About the Role:
- We are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to provide support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a nursery setting.
- The successful candidate will work closely with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized learning plans for children with SEN.
- Responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one support to children with SEN
- Assisting with lesson planning and delivery
- Liaising with teachers, other TAs, and specialist support staff
- Supporting children with their daily routines and activities
- Keeping accurate records of children's progress and contributing to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
**Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviors
- Ability to engage with and build rapport with children
- Creative and proactive approach to support
- TA qualification (L2/3)
