The Role

We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join our Projects & Commissioning Team. This is a field-based role that requires travel throughout the UK and possibly NI, ROI, and overseas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out all aspects of commissioning activity for Edina products and Balance of Plant, including interfaces with third parties.
  • Follow Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, regulations, and requirements to fault-find on Edina installations and ensure problems are closed out to the required quality standard.
  • Train clients and Edina personnel on the product to allow safe operation as required and occasionally support the wider team in specialist troubleshooting and field support.
Requirements
  • Hold a minimum qualification to ONC/D, NVQ level II, or City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent in a mechanical/electrical discipline.
  • Be a competent time-served technician in a mechanical/electrical discipline with a minimum of 3 years' Power Generation Commissioning experience.
  • Be a competent technician with considerable skills and in-depth knowledge of gas and diesel engines within Power Generation.
  • Have effective IT skills and competency in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Hold a full, valid UK driving license.
