Job Title: Weekend Lecturer in Business

Regent College London is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Weekend Lecturer in Business to join our team. As a Weekend Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deliver learning and teaching materials for our Business programs.
  • Teach a set number of sessions each week, including lectures, seminars, and tutorials.
  • Maintain attendance registers and work with the attendance team to ensure accurate student data.
  • Deliver teaching sessions in line with approved program and module specifications.
  • Ensure students engage with their sessions and develop teaching materials for modules.
  • Update class notes and VLEs regularly.
  • Make suggestions to improve student academic experience.
  • Identify needs for developing module content or structure and propose changes.
Assessment and Marking:
  • Set assessments for students and ensure timely submissions.
  • Support assessment production and approval.
  • Participate in standardization and moderation meetings.
  • Provide formative and summative feedback to students.
  • Mark assessments and provide constructive feedback.
Student Support:
  • Address student engagement or performance issues and signpost to specialist services.
  • Field pastoral requirements and signpost to relevant services.
  • Monitor student progress and liaise with specialist services.
Quality Assurance:
  • Provide module evaluation reports.
  • Contribute to program evaluations.
  • Engage with program committee meetings.
  • Reflect on student feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to accreditation and quality control processes.
Scholarship:
  • Engage in scholarship to support teaching activities.
  • Update knowledge and apply it to teaching and external activities.
  • Support the School's scholarship plan.
