Job Title: Cleaner - Battyeford CE Primary School

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a cleaner for our primary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake a range of cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Ensure all areas of the school are clean and tidy, including classrooms, corridors, and communal areas.
  • Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning tasks.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the school administration.
Requirements:
  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • Experience of undertaking cleaning duties.
  • Knowledge of cleaning best practices and ability to follow instructions.
  • Approachable and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and students.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Confident and highly motivated individual.
  • Flexible and able to work on own initiative.
  • Honest and act with integrity, be trustworthy and understand the need for confidentiality.
