ABOUT THE STUDENT COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT
The Student Communications team is committed to delivering exceptional service, ensuring that every student and visitor feels appreciated. A confident communicator, you will engage with a diverse range of visitors at the welcome center. Additionally, you will have the chance to collaborate with the central marketing team to enhance our Student Communications resources, making a passion for social media and a creative mindset advantageous.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
You will report directly to the Registrar, who is a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The following outlines the primary tasks and responsibilities associated with this role. These are not exhaustive and may be adjusted to align with the skills of the post holder and the needs of the institution.
Communication
- Establish effective communication channels between students, parents, agents, and school staff.
- Provide clear and accurate responses to inquiries from external and internal clients.
- Address and resolve complaints, escalating issues to the Registrar as necessary.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and agents.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all scheduled and walk-in visits from agents, students, and parents, offering a warm reception and comprehensive tours of the facilities.
Student Admissions and Support
- Co-facilitate student induction and registration events, collaborating with team members to ensure a smooth transition for students arriving in a new country.
- Assist the Registrar in organizing the annual Graduation ceremony.
- Support students in acclimating to life in the UK.
- Manage taxi transfer arrangements.
- Be available to oversee the student registration process during the weekend prior to the start of term.
Student Retention
- Work closely with students expressing concerns about completing their courses to ensure issues are resolved effectively.
- Oversee the enrollment process for continuing, extending, and transferring students.
- Issue offer letters for students continuing their studies.
- Coordinate with other CATS Global Schools institutions to facilitate student transfers.
Compliance and Reporting
- Collaborate with the Registrar and Immigration Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to UKVI regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date contact information and immigration records for all students, ensuring all documentation is properly scanned and stored.
- Manage the early withdrawal process, including reporting to UKVI and gathering necessary documentation.
- Assist students with visa renewals and the assignment of CAS documents.
Administrative Duties
- Activate student accounts and provide login details, resetting passwords as needed.
- Address post-arrival service issues and liaise with central staff as appropriate.
- Support the Independent Accommodation process, ensuring all relevant forms are completed and stored correctly.
- Process high school term reports for validation purposes.
- Perform reception and postal duties as required.

- Minimum educational qualifications: 5 GCSEs including Maths and English.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
