As a Resident Well-being Facilitator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Your primary focus will be to foster positive connections with residents and their families, ensuring that their social and recreational needs are met in accordance with personalized care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivate meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
- Assess and address residents' social and leisure requirements based on individual care strategies.
- Plan and execute engaging social and recreational activities tailored to residents' interests.
- Motivate and guide staff to interact with residents in a meaningful manner.
- Supervise a team of Hospitality Assistants or Well-being Facilitators.
Ideal candidates will possess experience in the following areas:
- Leadership in customer service.
- Planning and organizing events.
- Experience in elderly care or dementia support.
- Volunteering within the community.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Strong communication abilities.
- Creativity, empathy, and patience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
Educational Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Background in Psychology or Occupational Therapy.
- Courses in Activity Provision or Hospitality Leadership.
- Creative qualifications in fields such as fine arts or design.
- Complimentary induction training provided by Cedar Care.
