Spray / Plating Technician Position Overview

At Bennett and Game Recruitment, we are seeking a skilled Spray / Plating Technician to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing process, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our eyewear components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean, sand, and mask eyewear components to prepare them for painting or plating.
  • Ensure all surfaces are free from contaminants and defects prior to coating.
  • Mix and apply paint coatings using spray guns and other painting equipment.
  • Apply primers, base coats, and topcoats as required, ensuring even coverage and high-quality finishes.
  • Maintain and operate spray booths, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor and adjust plating baths and solutions to ensure optimal conditions for coating.
  • Inspect finished products for uniformity, thickness, and adherence to quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience with spray painting and water plating
Remuneration:
  • Salary between £40,000 - £45,000
