Cardiac Nurse Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Nurse Specialist to join our Cardiology Department at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiac services.

About the Role

As a Cardiac Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and heart valve surgeries. You will work closely with our consultant cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing cardiac procedures
  • Collaborate with consultant cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of cardiac services and protocols
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registered General Nurse with full NMC registration
  • Experience in cardiology, cardiothoracic, or vascular nursing
  • Ability to recognize cardiac rhythms (desirable)
