Job Summary

As a Multi-Skilled Day and Night Team Member at IBIS, you will be responsible for overseeing hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and working collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage hotel operations, including guest check-in and check-out, and address any guest needs that may arise.
  • Prepare drinks, make pizzas, assist with breakfast service, make new reservations, and perform other tasks as required.
  • Oversee security and health and safety protocols, and ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals, including maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of hotel management systems and software.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our operations and services.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within a hotel environment.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
  • A commitment to delivering high levels of guest service.
  • Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • A smart and professional appearance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and hotel management software.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this position, you must be eligible to live and work in the UK and be in possession of a current work visa. In line with the requirements set by the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
