About the Role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Solicitor to join its expanding Employment team in Reading. As a Senior Associate Solicitor, you will play a key role in advising clients on a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day advice on disciplinary and grievance procedures, managing sickness absence and TUPE transfers.
  • Conduct redundancy programmes and restrictions, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws.
  • Act for clients in employment tribunals, representing their interests and defending against claims.
  • Develop and implement employment law strategies to minimize risk and maximize business outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years' experience in employment law, ideally from a recognized London or regional practice.
  • Excellent contract employment law skills and knowledge, with a strong academic record (a 2:1 degree is a minimum requirement).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
