About the Role

RWE Offshore Wind GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Project Manager to join our Projects & Investments UK&I and Southern Europe team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and steering all financial and financial-related workstreams of a project, from early development through auction bid, FID to commissioning and handover to operational phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the wider Financial team in the project
  • Coordinate respective Finance and Finance-related workstreams, including business case process, assumption book, cost book, financial model works, risk & opportunity register, cost management systems, accounting and tax workstreams, budgeting process, project cost controls, and reporting processes
  • Represent the project from a finance perspective at steering committees and board meetings
  • Ensure all financial/commercial considerations regarding grid connections are considered
  • Support the preparation of bid group papers/proposals, including bid tactics, and project approval papers
  • Set up a project-specific governance and ensure alignment with the project owners, particularly RWER
  • Ensure financial best practice is delivered in the projects and lessons learned are shared with the Financial and Valuation Management team
Your Profile
  • At least 4-6 years' experience in managing large-scale projects, preferably in offshore or power plant projects
  • Broad finance background, including valuation, project financing, controlling, and procurement
  • Accounting experience beneficial
  • University degree in business administration, (business) engineering, banking, or economics
  • Strong analytical and communicational skills
  • Experience in leading and motivating teams
  • Ability to work in and with international groups
  • Fluent English, other languages (esp. German) beneficial
  • Integrative and trustful personality
