Meter Reader

We are seeking a skilled Meter Reader to join our team, working in the GU postcode area. As a Meter Reader, you will be responsible for visiting residential and commercial sites to obtain utility meter readings and conduct visual inspections of metering equipment.

This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy meeting new people and are comfortable interacting with customers. You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, with flexibility to maintain a great work-life balance. Overtime opportunities are also available.

You will receive a base salary of £23,400 per annum, aligned with the Real Living Wage, with the potential to earn bonuses, bringing your OTE to over £30,000.

• Obtain utility meter readings and conduct visual inspections of metering equipment
• Record all information using our mobile app
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Work independently, with minimal supervision

• Driving Licence entitling you to drive in the UK with no more than 6 points
• Access to your own vehicle, with business insurance and current MOT (if applicable)
• Ability to pass a basic DBS check – No unspent criminal convictions
