Job Title: Senior Plant Financial Controller - Global Operations

Job Summary:

Cast UK Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Plant Financial Controller to lead our manufacturing financial control team in the UK. As a key member of our global operations team, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our plant leadership team, ensuring operational excellence and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce timely and accurate management information to satisfy group and local deadlines, including weekly production cost analysis, stock variance analysis, and PPV analysis.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the Assistant Plant Controller, including ensuring master data integrity and vigilance.
  • Business partnering with operations, R&D, commercial, and HR teams, presenting clear financial information to support decision-making at all levels.
  • Cost accounting, including checking material-dependent data, monitoring fixed cost evolution, and raising issues before month-end close.
  • Month-end reporting, including revaluation of standards, month-end deliverables, and validation of CLOCO activities.
  • Lead the plant budget and forecasting process, providing timely and accurate analysis of product material costs and fixed costs.
  • Validate plant savings actions and measurement, and provide input and support in the development of new business systems.
  • Hold the business to the internal controls framework, ensuring compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assist with internal, group, and external audits, and support stock takes across the business.
  • Act as the gatekeeper, ensuring communication of plant performance is accurate, consistent, and timely.
  • Provide monthly plant 'Health Check' dashboard to the UK & Ireland CFO, and raise and address plant issues as they arise.
  • Participate in and lead key projects in UK manufacturing from an FP&A perspective.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional high growth international manufacturing operation based in Staffordshire.
  • Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + benefits.
