About The Role

The RAC is seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to join their Insurance Pricing Team on a permanent basis. The role is based in the Bristol office on a hybrid basis, with the expectation of being in the office two days a week.

The RAC Insurance operates as a broker within the personal lines insurance market and has ambitious plans to grow in this area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop pricing strategies to improve business performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Produce in-depth analysis to understand the impact of previous pricing actions.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage new data to enhance analysis.
  • Apply analytical and statistical skills to explore new predictive modeling techniques.
  • Become an expert in insurance pricing and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Present pricing insights to stakeholders from other business areas.

Requirements

  • A clear and logical thinker with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Interest in exploring and understanding data to drive business decisions.
  • Proactive and a keen problem solver with commercial acumen.
  • Ability to boil down complex problems into simple and effective pricing recommendations.
