Role OverviewWe are seeking a MPS Planner who will play a critical role in managing and prioritizing production operations. This position is essential for ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in planning and prioritizing production activities to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Senior MPS Planner to communicate any anticipated order delays.
- Evaluate capacity constraints based on incoming demand and assist production in analyzing order patterns.
- Support efforts to eliminate bottlenecks and streamline operations.
- Release expedited production orders and adjust volumes as necessary.
- Monitor production progress, addressing delays and re-prioritizing tasks as needed.
- Plan and balance capacity to enhance operational performance.
- Work closely with production teams to determine requirements for workforce, equipment, and materials.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate production workflows for multiple products.
- Utilize the ERP system to generate daily manufacturing orders and manage documentation.
- Perform general administrative tasks and data entry.
- Prepare and submit performance reports, collaborating with quality control and warehouse teams.
- Proficient in SAP and capable of building material and product knowledge.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with strong planning and scheduling skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage complex planning scenarios with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
