Job Title: Finance Trainee

The Place, a renowned dance institution, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Trainee to join their team. As a Finance Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop key finance skills and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and understand financial transactions, maintain financial records, and analyze and present data.
  • Assist the Finance Supervisor in managing income and expenditure workflows, ensuring timely processing, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Support the Chief Financial Officer, Finance Business Partner, and other business areas with data reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Develop finance reconciliation skills and participate in a Creative Access support programme that includes induction training, monthly masterclasses, wellbeing support, and more.
Requirements:
  • 5 GCSEs at A*-C or an equivalent qualification, including Maths.
  • Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, strong numerical and written communication skills, and a self-motivated problem-solving approach.
  • Strong organisational skills and flexibility with planning and prioritising tasks.
