Junior Sous Chef Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team in a busy kitchen environment. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the preparation and presentation of meals
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen during service
  • Train and develop new chefs to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively
  • Take charge of specific sections of the kitchen as required
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or in a similar role
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
