Senior Accountant Opportunity

Butler Rose is pleased to be representing a well-established and highly successful accounting firm. This is a consultative firm who pride themselves on nurturing strong client relationships and providing a personalized service.

Due to this, their client base is growing and they are keen to recruit a Senior Accountant who can develop into the role and take on a portfolio of accounting clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements under FRS102 Section 1A and FRS105 for a diverse range of clients.
  • Preparation of corporation tax and submission of CT600's to the HMRC
  • Experience in completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
  • Attend client meetings and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
  • Effectively manage time to ensure work is completed within agreed time and budget

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years' experience working in a UK based accounting practice.
  • ACA/ACCA studier who is ideally part qualified, although candidates at other stages of qualification will be considered.
  • Current knowledge of statutory accounting, corporation/personal tax and VAT
  • Excellent communication skills and adept at developing and maintaining strong working relationships
