Role Overview:

As a Residential Support Facilitator, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality support services to our residents.

Your role will involve collaborating closely with individuals to create personalized support strategies that cater to their specific needs, aiding them on their path to independent living.

This includes helping residents manage their tenancy and other essential tasks, such as scheduling medical appointments and navigating benefits, to promote their future independence.

The work will take place across multiple locations within Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Planning:
Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and develop customized support plans in partnership with residents.

Case Management:
Provide continuous case management, ensuring residents receive suitable support and referrals to external resources.

Advocacy:
Represent residents' interests to help them access housing, healthcare, employment, and other vital services.

Life Skills Training:
Organize workshops and individual sessions to enhance residents' life skills, including budgeting, cooking, and tenancy management.

Crisis Intervention:
Provide immediate assistance and intervention during emergencies, working to de-escalate situations and ensure residents' safety.

Record Keeping:
Maintain precise and current records of all interactions and progress, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations.

Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar service or environment.
Right to Work in the UK.
Ability to work waking nights.
Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
Enhanced DBS required (being on the update service is highly advantageous).

Preferences:
Full, clean driving license.
Confidence in managing conflicts.
Experience in tenancy support.
Familiarity with complex mental health issues, homelessness, substance misuse, and alcohol dependency.
Relevant experience in similar roles.
