IT Operations Service Manager

Join VANRATH in Belfast as we seek an experienced IT Operations Service Manager to lead our cloud technology team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its availability, reliability, scalability, security, and license compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement IT service processes to ensure seamless delivery of services across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to support business growth and maintain a competitive edge in the cloud services market.
Requirements:
  • IT degree and minimum 3 years in a technical management role within a large organization.
  • Recent experience/knowledge of working with infrastructure/cloud technologies and licensing.
  • Experience of leading or supporting ICT projects with a budget of over £50,000.
  • Strong cloud technology experience.
What You'll Do:

As an IT Operations Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our IT service processes are well-defined, implemented, and operated across the organization. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting database service outages, recommending high availability and resilience options, and mentoring support team colleagues.
