Machine Operator Assistant

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Blackwood

Salary: £11.69 per hour (Temporary to Permanent)

Hours: 4 on 4 off, comprising 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts (6.00am-18.00pm and 18.00pm-6.00am)

Job Summary:

We are currently recruiting for Machine Operatives to work for a client of The Recruitment Co. based in Blackwood. This is a well-established business with a strong reputation in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection and packaging of various plastic goods
• A high level of concentration to ensure consistency and fault monitoring
• Operation of machines on a semi-automatic basis
• Manual handling, including stacking pallets, wrapping, and moving pallets on pallet trolleys
• General cleaning around the workstation
• Use of cleaning solvents to clean mouldings (if required)
• Compliance with company health and safety policies
• Operation of multiple machines (when trained)

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a factory environment or a similar role
• Own transport due to location

• £45 per week Attendance Allowance (if all hours worked)
