We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical psychological services to older adults in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist assessments, including neuropsychological assessments and rehabilitation, to older adults.
- Develop and implement psychologically informed interventions to support older adults with complex needs.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including Community Mental Health Teams and Memory Assessment Services, to provide comprehensive care.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to practitioners, trainees, and other professionals.
- Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines related to older adult mental health services.
- Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Eligible for Chartered Clinical Psychologist status.
- Relevant specialist training in Neuropsychology, Psychological Therapy, Supervision, and Research Methods.
- Experience of working with older adults, including clinical and audit work, teaching, and training.
- Supervision experience with a range of staff, including psychologists and other professionals.
- Consultancy experience in a range of settings, including community and inpatient services.
