We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Interim Finance Manager to join a prominent international organization located in Manchester. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished finance expert to significantly influence the financial operations of a rapidly evolving enterprise.
The organization has recently undergone a change in ownership, and the new management is focused on enhancing operations amidst outdated systems and processes.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a proven track record of implementing improvements in a fast-paced, transformative environment. A self-motivated individual who can swiftly understand the business landscape to contribute effectively will thrive in this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Enhance Financial Operations: Assess and refine existing processes, technologies, and team dynamics to maximize operational efficiency.
- Consolidation Management: Spearhead the consolidation efforts of international subsidiaries, ensuring precise and timely financial reporting.
- Audit Oversight: Manage and execute the group audit, guaranteeing compliance and accuracy throughout the process.
- Implement Strategic Improvements: Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing overall financial performance and streamlining reporting schedules.
- Continuous Improvement: Take full responsibility for fostering ongoing enhancements and operational excellence within the finance function.
Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA professional.
- Proficient in Excel and financial modeling.
- Extensive experience in delivering results within a high-change environment.
- Expertise in consolidating financials for international entities.
- Experience managing an international financial reporting schedule.
- Ability to conduct audits with efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proactive in driving change and enhancing reporting timelines.
- Outstanding leadership and team management capabilities.
