Job Type: Full-time, Long-term

About the Role:

We are working with a two-form entry mainstream primary school in Trafford who are seeking a skilled Intervention Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and will work closely with the school's teaching staff to deliver high-quality educational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lesson plans in line with the relevant curriculum and age-appropriate content
  • Develop and implement innovative pedagogical methods to support students with SEND
  • Provide exceptional behavior management, adhering to the school's policy
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching children within the UK

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching children with SEND needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
