Job Title: Primary Supply Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Primary Supply Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education.

£120 - £200 Per day

Job Duties:
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students, adapting teaching methods to suit the varying needs of students.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment, ensuring effective delivery of the curriculum.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance, collaborating with other teachers and school staff.
  • Participate in school events and parent-teacher meetings as required, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field, with a strong understanding of the primary school curriculum.

Experience:

Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting is desirable, with a proven track record of delivering effective lessons and managing classroom behaviour.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Good IT skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working as a supply teacher
Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a primary school environment, following the school's timetable and policies. Occasional participation in extracurricular activities may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
