About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Children's Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, based on mutual respect, trust, and open communication.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent standards of care, using relationship-based practice and a holistic approach.
  • Support children to develop their independence skills, including education, personal care, and daily living skills.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that children's needs are met and their rights are respected.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with children and young people, particularly those with additional needs.
  • Knowledge of relationships and their impact on children's lives, including attachment and trauma.
  • Ability to work holistically, considering the individual needs of each child and their family.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
