The Paediatric Complex Care team is expanding to meet the growing needs of children referred to our service. As a Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team providing care and support to children and their families in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accompany children and their families to school, nursery, hospital appointments, outings, and respite care
  • Provide emotional and practical support to children and their families
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement care plans
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and competencies
  • Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and night shifts, to meet the needs of the service

Requirements

  • Experience working with children and/or community care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the service
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel
