Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at our Primary School in Greenwich. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and well-being of our students, helping them to achieve their full potential.

About the Role

This is a full-time, long-term position, working Monday to Friday, term time only. You will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons, preparing learning materials, and running classroom activities. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our students, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and preparing learning materials
  • Run classroom activities and supervise students during lessons
  • Help students with their emotional and physical needs, supporting them to develop as individuals
  • Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure the smooth running of the classroom
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with prior experience of working with primary-aged children, preferably as a Teaching Assistant. You will need to be adaptable, responsive, and caring, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. You will also need to have a safeguarding responsibility if appointed.
