About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domiciliary Care Assistant to join our team at Richmond Village Letcombe Regis. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care duties, such as bathing, dressing, and continence care, in their own homes within the village.
  • Support residents at mealtimes, serving meals in their apartments or within the care home, and assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
  • Help promote mental and physical activity of residents through hobbies, interests, or activities within the village.
  • Respond to emergency calls when the care alert system is activated.
  • Collaborate with the Domiciliary Care Manager and external professionals, such as GPs, chiropodists, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, as required.
  • Perform administrative duties, including maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in a care or dementia setting, or a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). You will be passionate about caring for others, respecting people's choices, and prioritizing their safety and welfare. A great listener with a positive outlook, you will be confident communicating with residents and their families, and understand the importance of confidentiality.
