We are currently seeking full-time Shift Managers/Managers in Training for our stores. Key Responsibilities as a Shift Manager include:

  • Establishing and enforcing standard operating procedures and service excellence within the store.
  • Overseeing assigned staff in both front and back of house to ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Recruiting, training, and developing team members in line with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Managing human resources functions, including implementing disciplinary procedures, addressing grievances, and conducting staff appraisals.
  • Overseeing labor costs and expenses, while planning, forecasting, and setting budgets and sales targets, monitoring business performance as directed.
  • Ensuring cash and payment systems are managed according to company policies, prioritizing safety for both staff and customers.
  • Maintaining the effectiveness of IT and essential in-store systems, ensuring data security and confidentiality.
  • Planning and executing marketing strategies and activities as directed by the Store & Area Manager.
  • Organizing shop layout and customer flow to maximize sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring daily stock levels of food and beverage items, ensuring accurate checks and storage of deliveries.
  • Upholding health & safety, security, and emergency protocols in accordance with company policies and relevant legislation.
  • Conducting weekly review meetings with staff to assess previous targets, sales, and costs.
  • Enhancing personal skills through ongoing training provided by the company or approved training partners.

Our ideal Shift Manager will possess:

  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, high-volume food service environment at a managerial or assistant managerial level.
  • Demonstrated supervisory and leadership capabilities.
  • A strong ambition to progress to an Area Manager position.
