About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part Time Branch Assistant in our Frozen Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including our frozen food range, to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers.
  • Ensure the store is well-stocked, visually merchandised, and maintained to a high standard, adhering to company standards and guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintain a positive and productive team environment, and support the store's operational needs.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, stock management, and other tasks as required to maintain a high level of store presentation and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a retail or wholesale environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a till.
  • Able to lift and move stock, and stand for long periods.
