Job Title: Adult and Child Psychiatrist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist at Elysium Healthcare in Swindon. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and delivering high-quality care to survivors of acquired brain injuries, individuals with neurodegenerative conditions, and those with complex mental health and physical health needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert knowledge and leadership in working with survivors of acquired brain injury, individuals with neurodegenerative conditions, and complex physical health conditions.
  • Operate within agreed standards, targets, and constraints, following operational and strategic objectives.
  • Deliver high-quality care, conduct unit rounds, assess referrals, and attend various meetings and tribunals.
  • Provide regular supervision to junior members of the team.
Key Requirements:
  • Medically qualified with MRCPsych or equivalent.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Leadership ability and the ability to affect change professionally and organisationally.
  • Understanding of current developments in psychiatry and other aspects of mental health.
  • Previous consultant experience.
