Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Children and Family Mission Worker. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee our children and family ministry, including Christian input in existing activities such as our Parent and Toddler Group and potential activities like 'Messy Church' and holiday clubs.
  • Create a welcoming and supportive environment, using your skills to work with children and families holistically.
  • Contribute to the planning and review processes for the programmes and activities, and maintain close links to the community and any relevant external agencies.
Requirements
  • A commitment to Christianity, being a practising Christian with a willingness and ability to bring ministry to the community.
  • Experience of organising community activities for a range of different programme participants.
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and manage your own workload to meet objectives.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships.
