We are seeking a kind, caring and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at The Grand Care Centre, a purpose-built care home facility in West Bridgford, Nottingham.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality care to residents in a person-centred way, supporting them to enjoy a good quality of life.
- Model best practice when delivering care, assisting residents with their physical, emotional and spiritual needs in line with agreed care plans.
- Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the care home, working collaboratively with the team to achieve excellent care outcomes.
- Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Experience at Care Assistant level in a care environment, with a Care Certificate or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of care practice, including the 6 principles of care and how they underpin the delivery of care in a residential/nursing setting.
- Ability to work in a team, demonstrating self-motivation and confidence.
- Opportunities to progress through our career paths into more senior and management roles.
- Competitive rate of pay, with bank holiday and overtime enhancements.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum, plus paid DBS and uniform.
- Excellent induction programme for new starters, with ongoing support and training for nationally recognised qualifications.
