As an Individual Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to engage in Mainstream and various Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Alternative Provision educational settings.

This role is ideal for both seasoned Support Assistants and those entering the field who wish to acquire meaningful experience and contribute positively to the educational journeys of students with diverse learning requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing assistance to students with a variety of special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Encouraging inclusion and fostering a supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborating closely with educators and other school personnel to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Adapting to various educational environments and settings.

While prior experience in SEN or Alternative Provision settings is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in diverse educational contexts.
  • A readiness to be flexible and available for work.
