About the Role

Dovetail and Slate is proud to partner with a leading education provider in Aylesbury to recruit a dedicated Safeguarding Officer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the timely reporting and addressing of safeguarding concerns, providing exceptional support to students.
  • Empower students to access relevant support services independently, fostering confidence and knowledge.
  • Understand the challenges faced by vulnerable students, such as care leavers or those with mental health issues, and provide crisis intervention when needed to ensure their well-being.
Requirements
  • Able to start immediately
  • Relevant experience in safeguarding or a related field
  • Enhanced DBS certification (desired)
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Right to work in the UK
