Exciting Opportunity for a Psychologist in Leeds

Service Care Solutions Ltd is pleased to present a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Psychologist to join our established client in the Leeds area.

Our client runs the UK's largest Female Personality Disorder service, providing specialist assessment and treatment for Adults with complex Mental Health disorders.

The hospital provides Rehabilitation and Low-Secure services, offering a unique opportunity for a Psychologist to make a real difference in the lives of patients.

This is a full-time opportunity, available on a Permanent basis. Part-time applications may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the Multidisciplinary Team providing Assessment and Treatment to Female Adults with Personality Disorders amongst other complex Mental Health needs.
  • Participate in risk assessments and provide advice on risk management and reduction as required.
  • Offer supervision and teaching opportunities within your areas of expertise and engage in relevant clinical research.
  • Oversee and supervise the implementation of psychological programmes, ensuring they are grounded in robust psychological theory and practice.
  • Support the ongoing monitoring and review of psychological programmes, ensuring staff have a thorough understanding of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and other psychological approaches required for effective programme delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of in-service and other training programmes.
  • Undertake research and audits relevant to patient assessments, as well as the development and evaluation of interventions.
  • Provide management and clinical supervision to psychology assistants and other staff as appropriate.
