Job Title: Junior Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Technical Business Analyst to join our team. As a Junior Technical Business Analyst, you will work closely with experienced Business Analysts to gather and interpret user requirements, transforming them into innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand and challenge user requirements, translating them into technical design documents.
  • Review user stories and ask the key question: "Can we make the software do this?" If not, propose alternatives.
  • Confidently push back when necessary, explaining why a request may not work and offering smarter solutions.
  • Collaborate on multiple projects, ensuring that requirements are met and processes optimised.
  • Propose innovative ways of working to enhance efficiency and workflows.
  • Assist with testing, systems administration, and general IT support as required.
Requirements:
  • Problem-solving mindset – You think critically and creatively about how software can meet business needs.
  • Inquisitive nature – You naturally question, investigate, and understand how systems work.
  • Confidence to push back – You can explain why something may not be feasible and suggest better solutions.
  • Technical understanding – Experience with SQL, C#, or classic ASP would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Fast learner – You're eager to grow your skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player – You work well with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes.
