Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Physiotherapy Technical Instructor post at a community hospital.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and motivated individual who has the skills and ability to engage well with patients and work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Relevant evidence of experience in rehabilitation is desired. You would carry your own caseload of patients with supervision and support from qualified therapists.

You will also have experience of using highly skilled handling techniques to facilitate patient movement, and/or rehabilitation, implementing exercise and rehabilitation programmes. You will work collaboratively with others in the team in the treatment of patients.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in physiotherapy, with a focus on rehabilitation and patient care. You will be responsible for managing and being responsible for your own clinical caseload of clients, following therapeutic programmes to improve their physical abilities and to minimize disabilities.

Main Duties of the Job

  • To assist the qualified physiotherapist in the overall physiotherapy management of patients in collaboration with carers, support workers, healthcare staff, and agencies.
  • Under the direction and guidance of the qualified physiotherapist, to manage and be responsible for your own clinical caseload of clients, following therapeutic programmes in order to improve their physical abilities and to minimize disabilities.
  • To work independently using your own initiative, within your level of competence.
