About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our 7-bedded paediatric surgical unit at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT. As a dedicated children's nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of new ways of working within the unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical skills and support to the waiting list team, theatre staff, and a named group of staff within the unit.
  • Work collaboratively with an excellent team of nursing, medical, and theatre colleagues to maintain the highest standards of care for patients and families.
  • Bring your skills and experience to a well-established unit and contribute to the development of new ways of working.
  • Engage, support, and motivate the team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Person Specification

  • Registered Nurse with a diploma/degree or relevant experience.
  • Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Confident in dealing with difficult situations.
  • Acute hospital experience.
  • PILS/APLS/EPALS.
